International Longshoreman Workers Union, or ILWU - is a union dedicated to serving the longshoremen of the United States and beyond. ILWU Credit Union is dedicated to serving these workers exclusively. When they wanted to remodel their main branch in Long Beach, CA, they came to La Macchia Group. As the person responsible for designing the environmental graphics and signage for this project, I incorporated imagery and designs that paid recognition to the work that these individuals do every day. From photography to cut vinyl graphics, and even a fully functioning visual display, I created graphics and signage that complimented the interior of the space and instilled pride in the industry that this credit union's membership is comprised of.
